I Don’t Wanna Go to Bed

I don’t wanna go to bed, I don’t wanna go to bed
I wanna play my Nintendo, eat pizza instead
I don’t wanna go to bed, I don’t wanna go to bed
Did you hear what I said, I don’t wanna go to bed

1. What if robbers could come and take all of my toys
Leave me with nothin’ to do
What if Dad bakes some cookies and Mom eats ‘em all
And they were my favorites, too

Then my video games would escape from the screen
And carefully plan their attack
What if all of the creatures down under my bed
Suddenly crave a snack?

2. What if brother’s tarantula crawls out of his cage
And somehow winds up in my bed?
Or that cute guy from math class calls me on the phone
And talks to my mother instead?

What if we get a snowstorm or giant monsoon
And they end up closing my school?
But nobody tells me and I still get dressed
And head out the door like a fool?
