Julie Austin is an engaging, energetic performer and song leader who travels nationally and internationally giving children and family concerts in community settings and auditoriums, libraries, schools, churches, festivals and as part of educational conferences.
She sings and accompanies herself on guitar, autoharp, ukulele and jawharp. Julie actively engages children and adults alike throughout her concerts. She has several popular children’s recordings that are used in classrooms and homes all over the world. Her last CD, “Fandagumbo” was a Parent’s Choice Silver Honor’s Winner.

Concert Description
This lively and interactive concert features Julie Austin playing guitar, ukulele, auto harp and jawharp as her audience sings, moves, does sign language and actively participates in musical storytelling. Julie has been delighting audiences for over twenty years nationally and internationally in auditoriums, schools, libraries and festivals.

Julie plays seventy five to one hundred concerts each year at libraries, schools, community settings as well as teaches weekly music classes for children ages three, four and five in Atlanta. She has also provided music enrichment classes for children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.
